Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born in Portland,
Maine, to Janice (Cooke), an accountant as well as William Kendrick, a teacher.
Michael Cooke Kendrick, her older brother, has also appeared in shows. She is
from English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her performance in the role of
"Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was
nominated for a Tony Award (second youngest ever) as well as an award from the
Drama Desk Award, and an award called a Fany Award (best actress featured in a
musical). Her incredible performance was awarded a Theatre World Award and
Drama League Award. She was also a part-time performer in Cabaret's Kit Kat
Club at "Carnegie Hall Live", in Great Performances, My Favorite
Broadway The Leading Ladies (1999). (TV). She had the honor of working
alongside choreographer Scott Ellis, choreographer Susan Stroman as well as
other famous actors at the New York City Opera House. Anna starred in Camp
(2003) and was nominated for the Broadway Tony Award for Best actress (Featured
role in a musical) for High Society. The actress was the second-youngest
nominated in Tony history (after 1991's Tony winner, Daisy Eagan). In Tony
history, George Clooney made fun of her when she worked with Scott Ellis and
Susan Stroman at the New York Opera House. Anna starred in Camp (2003) and was
nominated in the 1998 Tony Award for Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) for
"High Society." In 2010, she was nominated in the second and third
