Lil Tecca

Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe, born 26 August 2002 is an American artist and rapper. The success of "Ransom," his 2019 single, allowed him to become a household name. His mixtape debut"We Love You Tecca (2019) included the hit single. It reached fourth place in the US Billboard 200. It also contained the singles Love Me and Did It Again. The album he released as his debut called Virgo World (2020), debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 10. It contained the Billboard Hot 100 chart-charting songs "Dolly" as well as "When You Down". The second mixtape "We Love You Tecca 2", was released in August 2021. It featured "Repeat It", and "Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was a son of Jamaican immigrants. He was born on August 26 2002, in Queens, New York City. Sharpe was born in Queens' Springfield Gardens, after which he moved to Cedarhurst on Long Island. Sharpe was a kid with plans to be an athlete in basketball, but Sharpe shifted his focus towards music at the age of twelve. Sharpe was a student at Lawrence High School. Tecca was nine years of age when he began to rap over his Xbox. They would create diss tracks directed towards each other One of them was posted to SoundCloud several years ago, but was removed. He initially had no plans to pursue a career in music however, he had a dream of becoming a NBA star. Through his middle school years However, he began to become bored with basketball and began taking music seriously. The first track to become well-known, "Tectri", was created by Lil Gummybear in collaboration with Lil Gummybear and released in the early part of 2017. His other tracks include "Callin" as well as "Tectri". His hit single "Ransom," which was first posted to Cole Bennett's Lyrical lemonade YouTube channel on May 22nd of 2019, began Tecca's meteoric rise. The track reached the top spot at number 4 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. It has had more than 900 million Spotify plays and more than 300 million YouTube views.
