Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977, is an American actress who is best recognized for her part in 24 as well as the voice work that she did for Tess in NaughtyDog's game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. In her early years she competed as an Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she graduated in 1999. Wersching's acting career began with the role of a guest in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to appear on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March 2007 until November 2007, she had playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. She also appeared in theaters such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season stint in 24, Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which has her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). She was also a regular in the series of Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also voiced the character in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was seen in the trailer which was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching will play the role of the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
