Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
became famous as a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live'. Then, he appeared in
several big-screen comedies, including Elf,' Anchorman and "Talladega
Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began his career
in comedy by playing an actor for the improv troupe based in Los Angeles, the
group known as the Groundlings. Following his famed seven-year stint as a cast
member of Saturday Night Live, he was one of the film industry's biggest
comedic draws through off-color movies like Old School (2003) and Anchorman:
The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also the co-founder of the
popular video streaming site Funny or Die, and experienced success as a
voiceover actor through animated films such as Megamind (2010). John William
Ferrell was conceived in Irvine, California on July 16th, 1967. Will Ferrell
was the eldest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and instructor
Kay Ferrell. He was, by his own admission in no way the class clown when he was
a University High School student. Ferrell who was quiet and reserved and
reserved, decided to leave his mark on football where he set a school-record
for most field goals scored. Ferrell was a more relaxed person living in
suburban homes and didn't exhibit the same kind of funny or outrageous
outbursts later to define his career. His mother who was interviewed by Esquire
reported that her son was very even-tempered and easygoing. "You're
familiar with the Matchbox cars?" Will arrange his Matchbox cars by
himself and be extremely happy. You could say, "You want to go to
Disneyland today?" That would be a challenging conversation for him to
think about. Ferrell was not a perfectly straight man but that's certainly not
to say he was not. The hints of his comic skills showed up each morning in high
school, when he disguised himself to announce the school's daily events over
the PA system. Following his graduation in 1986 Ferrell attended the University
of Southern California at Los Angeles, where he joined the Delta Tau fraternity
and pursued an education in sports journalism.
