Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush is an American boy group that is specialized in the field of pop. The group was formed in 2009. The group is made up of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. The group initially signed with Nick Records in 2009 before switching to Columbia Records. They were featured in Nickelodeon's TV series, Big Time Rush. From November 28, 2009 through July 25, 2013, the show ran. The pilot episode featured the group's debut single as a promo, "Big Time Rush". The group released three studio albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011) and 24/Seven (2013). In 2014, the group went on an indefinite hiatus that lasted up to 2021. The band resumed live shows in the studio and came out with "Call It Like It's Like It's Looking". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 in conjunction with the television series, Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon then partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to produce the show and release original music. For the show, their first single, "Big Time Rush" came out on November 29 on the 29th of November. Officially announced by Nickelodeon the series first shown in the U.S. in November 2009 up until the time it was launched worldwide. It debuted during a preview of the series. It is currently the show's main theme. The show also saw releases of promotional singles including "City is Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also performed the Play song "Famous" and was written by him. The song debuted on iTunes on June 29 2010. Another track, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes on April 27, 2010 following its premiere in the series. The song quickly became the band's first single to be charted on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 93 due to digital sales. On September 21 on the 21st of September in 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till I Forget About You" in promotion of the release of their debut album. On October 11, 2010 the album, which was titled BTR, was made available to the public. The album reached the top 3 spot on Billboard 200 and sold 67,000 copies within the first week.
