Lil Yacthy

Lil Yacthy is an artist musician, rapper, and performer. He is best known for his hit song "One Night". His real name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is often referred to as King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. The two mixtapes he released, "Summer Songs 2" and "Lil Boat", helped him to become the most well-known name in the world. This wasn't his first attempt to sing. The first recognition came in August of 2015 with his two singles "One Night" and "Minnesota'. Both were released on his debut EP (Extended play) entitled 'Summer Songs'. The music label roster currently includes  Capital Records and "Quality Control Music" and 'Motown Records. Yachty has collaborated with many notable rappers, like 'D.R.A.M. as well as 'Chance the Rapper. Yachty is also selling his own merchandise on his official website. In addition the site also offers glimpses of his personal life as well as updates about forthcoming performances, concerts and tours with Yachty. When he was a student at Pebblebrook High School, Lil Yatchy, worked at McDonald's. It was there that he met fellow hopeful producers and rappers. Yachty was accepted into the Alabama State University for graduation but dropped out after two months. Yachty's love for music was evident since a young age. He was inspired by his father who introduced him to many different kinds of music. In 2015, he adopted the title "Yachty" to move from Atlanta to New York. He wanted to achieve success in his life. He relocated to New York with a friend and started looking for ways to get into the music industry. He also started to network with street fashion bloggers and built an impressive number of followers on Instagram. He also teamed up with Burberry Perry producer and beat maker and later his other main collaborator K$upreme. The trio is collectively known as  The Saling Team' and worked in Lil Yachty's studio. The first time he was successful was after Drake's OVO Sound Radio aired his hit 'Minnesota'. The song "1Night" was Lil Yachty's first major success. The video was uploaded on the internet and quickly went viral. Media limelight was focused on his name when the SoundCloud version of his song "One Night' appeared in a viral meme video.
