Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on
September 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas. Tina Knowles-Lawson, her mom has designed
their stunning costumes. Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's managing director.
Solange is her sibling (they're 4 years apart) has released her debut album.
She dances with her bigger sister at DC-3 shows. Beyonce is Louisiana Creole

pair of metal work boots. She writes & produces many of the group's
tunes that have been hit singles, such as "Jumpin Jumpin",
"Bootylicious", "Nasty Girl", "Independent
Women", "Happy Face" and "Apple Pie a la Mode". She is
the singer-songwriter for Destiny's Child. As an opening act, she toured with
Christina Aguilera (2000). TLC was their opening act (1999). Master P is a cat.

from U2 hosted in November of 2003 to help fight the AIDS epidemic. On February
8, 2004 she took home five Grammy Awards, including Best Contemporary
R&B album for "Dangerously in Love". She also won the most
awards at this year's (2004) performance. Her father, Mathew, is of African American
descent. The mother of her, Tina, is of Louisiana Creole ancestry - mainly
African and French, with ancestors from Louisiana, and, before that, Canada.
Beyonce also descends 1/32 Irish, and her maternal line is distant Breton-,
Spanish-, Indonesian-, and Chinese roots. Has been quoted as saying that to get
over her shyness, she created the stage persona "Sasha".
